Song of the Month March, 2015

As many of you know or can tell by my posts I am huge music fan, in fact my dream is to own a vinyl record store.  In that vein I will be introducing my song of the month series.  You can expect mainly Blues, R&B (50’s, 60s, and 70’s), Alternative, and Rock. I hope you enjoy. “I’m a blues man but a good man, understand” B.B. King

I was originally introduced to Son House by Jack White during the amazing It Might Get Loud Documentary.  He was playing his favorite LP by the artist Son House the title was Grinnin’ in Your Face.  I was intoxicated by the simplicity but yet raw power and emotion of someone singing totally acoustic and clapping their hands. Needless to say Son House has become one of my favorite artist. He is also one of the most covered an influential blues artist. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do!
